Pirates as champions in South Africa were playing against Recreativo De Libolo who
are champions of Angola.
Pirates
lost to a better team and it doesn't take away the fact that they are the
champions who swept all the boards in South Africa.
Even
the spot that Black Leopards occupies in the CAF Confederations Cup belongs
Pirates because they were runners up to the Nedbank Cup that was won by Pirates.
In
football you win some and you lose some. We still have a chance to go and play
in the CAF Champions' League again next year because we are in contention for
the league title here at home.
Those
who think they can do better than Pirates must first win the domestic. For as
long as Pirates still wins cups here at home, they must forget about playing in
the CAF Champions League.
