European coaches are killing our soccer

The problem with the European coaches is that when they arrive in South Africa they change our style of play and worse turn our players into puppets. Wonder why our African national teams are not succeeding in the World Cup; for example just check on the FIFA rankings no team from Africa is on top 10.

Why? South African team owners find it difficult to invest in their own people and former players. Look how great did Doctor Khumalo and Ace Khuse worked after the sucking of the European coach. But did the manager trust them to continue? NO!

Perfect example Barcelona are doing wonders not because the got good or quality players but their manager Pep Guardiola is a former player and understand the culture of the team.

Sir Alex Ferguson has been a manager for more than two to three decades. SuperSport United are doing great under the guidance of South Africans; Gavin Hunt and Thomas Madigage.

Look at Moroka Swallows, they were fighting for relegation, but since Gordon Igesund took over from the European, he managed to save the team and look where they are now. Although all this, I still believe in Vladimir Vermezovic and the whole team.
