The
Chairman Irvin Khoza must just swallow his pride – recall Ruud Krol. We can try
and justify where it went wrong but it all leads to a lack of discipline and
dedication from the players.
We
were hardly ever able to string a few passes together. Our midfield was caught
very deep, and they never made an effort to win the second balls. Santos simply
pressed up and we crumbled.
The
least said about our defence - the better. I still cannot explain the selection
criteria – not that it matters since we have an "interim" coach. The
very same "interim" coach that was so vocal about Krol's team selections
last season. Now he gets a chance, does he expect me to be patient? No bloody
ways... I want results – NOW.
My
team has now been reduced to a bunch of mediocre players - thanks to the
Chairman himself. Dr Khoza, you killed the team by letting go of Ruud Krol. He
took three years to build a team to be reckoned with... just when we were
reaping the rewards of your patience, you fired him.

in the process – you killed the African Dream – the quest for a second star on
