I personally
refuse to dance to that ultimatum (Shape
up or ship out! (Possibly ... - http://goo.gl/ofMWz)
given to Pitso Mosimane. South African Football Association (Safa), if they are
serious, should look at raising our goalposts... what they are telling the
nation is that it is okay to be second best!
They need to
be reminded that this is South Africa ,
and not Botswana
where they celebrate mediocrity.
In 2013, we
will be hosting the tournament, and the ultimate aim should be to win, anything
less equals failure. These guys seem to have wasted time with their so-called symposium
(which makes me wonder why they used such a word for their nonsense instead of
simple words like conference or meeting).
I’m really baffled by this
symposium, based on what SAFA released, it looks like they only focus on the
future without taking into account where we are and why and how we got here... you
cant prepare for that future without checking our background, its like doing
COST ACCOUNTING without FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING... its impossible.
They go as
far as saying they aim to be in the top 3 in Africa ,
which literally means, if we are third ranked, they’d be happy, that’s
nonsense! What happened to aiming for the best?
However, Chief
Mwelo Nokonyane is right, should their ultimatumnyana fail, heads must roll and
his should be the first!
