So far so good for Southern African teams

Written By Unknown on Monday, January 23, 2012 | Monday, January 23, 2012

My assessment of the Africa Cup of Nations 2012 to this end - the Western African countries especially the over-decorated, over-glamorized and over-ratted Senegal and Burkina Faso were disjointed, dismantled, disorganized, timid and rigid against the well organized and balance Southern African teams; Zambia and Angola.

The implemented tactical and technical methodologies of Angola and Zambia were based on blistering pace and pouncing from the wings. The system did tear apart the giants of Western African teams with simplicity.

With the contentious Africa Cup of Nations competition regulations especial the famous Chapter 7, Article 14. Sub-article 14.1, the two Southern African teams are already knocking at the second round phase.

Do you think the Western African teams will rise to the occasion after the disappointing results? What your view on Southern African teams performance up to so far?

Are you impressed by Ivory Coast performance against Sudan? Do you think $1 million for winning a game and $20 000 per goal scored will inspired Equatorial Guinea to perform miracles?

What’s your view.
