Despite
all the so called internal problems Kaizer Chiefs is still sitting comfortably
in the second position of the log where as teams that are "pure" and
have no internal problems are just huffing and puffing struggling to win games
let alone score a goal or at least more that one goal within 90 minutes.
This
then proves to everyone concerned that indeed football has no "therefore",
otherwise we would be saying: "Chiefs has a coach who publicly criticises
his players THEREFORE they are struggling to win games", "Chiefs has
an arrogant team manager THEREFORE the team has been below the top 5 on the log
table since the season started and we are already 10 games into the season”,
“Chiefs have demoted their captain THEREFORE they are 9 points behind log
leaders", "Chiefs doesn't have a galaxy of stars THEREFORE they can
only afford to score a single goal per game or not score at all", etc
etc...
But
all of that is not happening; we are still hanging in there despite all what we
have been through. I'm not defending those individuals who are behind all these
allegations surrounding our team but all I'm saying is that things are not as
bad as we think they are for us.
Our
log position should serve as a motivation to us supporters and the players that
things are not that bad and soon they will be back to normal and once they do,
we will be unstoppable, especially when one takes into account the fact that
despite all these "problems" we are still in a respectable position
and other teams are failing dismally to capitalise on these so called internal
problems.
