I
found this comment very straight forward and I thought I should share it with
you as I share the same sentiments with the Author… It is a Fellow die Hard
Bucs faithful…
“Mark
‘The Professor’ Mayambela is a very skillful player problem is he can't use his
skill for the benefit of the team. Julio Leal wanted to build his starting XI
from the beginning with Mayambela as his ace in the pack hence he used him a
lot during pre - season games.
Did
the Professor come to the party? No? I'd like to take you back to the first leg
of MTN8 against Mamelodi Sundowns in Orlando. Lebo Mokoena performed a step
over in the 18 area and the result was a penalty... now that's how you use your
skill as a player. Mayambela is doing the opposite. In the O.R. Tambo Challenge
he played a neat one two with Thulasizwe Mbuyane to open up the defence and
missed the sitter which he had created himself.
He
had a good game in the game against Bloemfontein Celtic and I agree, but where
was he in the Final. He was introduced as an impact player and once again he
didn't deliver or make his presence felt. Dribbling in your own half doesn't
make you a better player. Dribbling in the 18 area will split the defense n
create opportunities for us and that's what the Professor needs to do. He
showed maturity and improvement in Rusty but he needs to put more effort in his
game.
The
Telkom Knockout quarterfinal against Moraka Swallows Benni McCarthy played
better coz he was adequately supplied... what happened against Celtic in Rusty?
Benni was hardly on the ball while Mayambela saw a lot of the ball... did we
benefit?
Leal
likes Mayambela and he's going to build him into a better player mark my words.
In the meantime let's seat back relax and enjoy the ride... its not going to be
a smooth sailing and its definitely not going to be rough sailing all the way.
We will find our rhythm eventually.
Hauling
insults and using vulgar language is disrespectful. No need to get emotional in
debates. Raise your point and back it up with facts and don't expect everybody
to agree with you. Football is a game of opinions and you don't need to know
how to play it to be able to understand it”
