The
signing of the attacking midfielder (Boubacar Talatou) has sparked some
conflicts of interest, some saying it's the best move and some saying why sign
a midfielder while we have a lot of them... well to the later, look at the
midfielders we have and tell me out of those, who's the attacking midfielder,
beside Isaac Chansa, the answer is none.
We
have the best strikers in Benni McCarthy and Bongani Ndulula, and I believe in Ndumiso
Mabena too, if he was going to get constant supple of the ball he might net two
chances out of the million he will be getting. At Bucs at the moment, without
an attacking mid-player, you can bring the best strikers in the world but they
too will fail.
And
those who say Oupa Manyisa is an attacking midfielder, if you remember or if
you look at the Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs games that he scored,
you'll realise that the balls where actually a rebound from set pieces, and he
happened to be there.
He's
not an attacking minded player, Andile Jali? Certainly not. I believe that the
new signee is just the missing piece of the puzzle, with Oupa and Jali behind
him, Benni / Ndulula / Mabena in front of him, we going to start scoring
goals... sit back and watch!
