The
Coaching team is failing the mighty Bucs in a big way. The inability of Dr.
Irvin Khoza not to add more time in Ruud Krol’s contract or not showing faith
in Craig Rosslee was a bad idea to begin with.
But
we are here now with clowns such as Julio Leal. Leal keeps saying due to his unfitness
Benni McCarthy is not ready start a match... and by not starting he is
protecting the player surely that is just ridiculous... Benni is senior player
about to hang his boots in few years time.
You
can not protect a senior player worse of his caliber - Benni is prolific
natural striker and even if he was running with one leg he would be far better
than some who are used as strikers in our team.
We
do not score goals and only in few
minutes to go in our last game you panicked and started making changes with
introducing Benni, Rudolf Bester and one cow called (Ndumiso Mabena).
In
our game against AmaZulu you play a very defensive system with only one striker
(Thulasizwe Mbuyane) who is not even a natural striker and leave two quality
strikers in Benni and Bester on the bench and we are supposed to defend a championship
with such a mentality.
Surely
if you do not change your ways will have no other choice but to change you. If
you want to win cups and league play your best players and stop fooling around.
Play
Andile Jali and Oupa “Ace” Manyisa in the centre with Isaac Chansa in front of
them, Daine Klate on left and Guatrain (Tlou Segolela) on right and striker
with Benni who can be assisted with either Bester or Bongani 'Drogba' Ndulula...
ON BENNI MCCARHTY NOT
STARTING
If
we want to score goals we will but we have to be smart about it. I am of firm
belief that we have the material of champions but if we play them wrongly like
Leal has been doing then we will suffer.
I
see no real justification why Benni should not start given his strength as
striker in the air and in the box... moreover Benni brings with him hype all
defenders want to see in Premier Soccer League as the ones who closed Benni
down... bayamo yika (afraid of him)... and give him time to play intelligent
passes and lay-offs, if you remember how Juju scored against Mamelodi Sundowns
in first game of MTN8.
Benni
was not fancy but played smart… this is the same point Bashi was placing in
latest Laduma paper in that our strikers can feed from Benni and score goals. Luckily
Chansa is back and he is one player who has footballing brains.
If
Leal starts with Benni and (Bester or Ndulula) then we can score goals. But if
you play Benni for a mere 20 minutes and you have substituted Chansa in his
place then we will not score... Benni ought to be central in our coming back
because of obvious reasons.
In
the first half Klate crosses great but we do not have good headers of the ball
if Benni or Bester (or Ndulula) is on the Bench... these 3 players are critical
in our striking department.
