gave Julio Leal a chance, well I will say it again Leal is beyond useless and
no matter how many chances you gave him he will not deliver, we were promised
good football do you all see it? Because I don’t. Yes Ruud Krol couldn’t beat
our rivals but he made us happy hence our name 'Happy People' was re-lived, you
can’t take someone who failed at smaller team and think can control the champion’s
ship.

I look at posts and can see that some people here never played sports they just
love soccer they don’t understand what it’s all about, there is more to soccer
than the actual match day... I did say when everyone was happy when pirates was
winning that, we must not expect much from the new coach as its his first
season, new staff, style of play to get used to etc, pirates will lose sooner
or later, if it was Krol it would’ve been a different case... Leal has a performance
clause in his contract, let’s wait and see # UP the BUCS!

I don’t think people have a problem when a team loses once in a while but three
looses in seven matches? We should really be concerned if are ship is sinking o
not, yes its still early but we the rate we going on its just bad... we can't
score goals hence even when we win its a one nil when other teams score more
goals... how are we to defend the title?

looks like it hasn't sunk in your heads. We lost 3/7 games, we scored 6 in 7
games and conceded 5, we are number 8, we collected 1 point from our last 3
games, we keep using the same striker who has made missing sitters his specialist,
week in week out, from January it's going to be extremely difficult with us
also competing in Africa, if we can't collect now, we might as well release the
trophy to Pretoria.

it is too early to press a panic button... losing is part of football. We are
still within a league championship winning range. However, we need to improve
on our away performance. Football is a team work and the coach can’t be blamed
alone… let’s give our coach all the necessary support. He is a master tactician
with proven tactical and technical ability. We shall weather the storm

problem Mashudu we keep on saying early days… NO! We need to win games… it’s never
too early to start winning. I know you lose some and win some, but every game
counts. They really need to pull up their socks. This sucks big time, it leaves
a lot to be desired!

only thing I never understood was why Krol was fired just coz of his playing
philosophy, yes it was not right but since when do we have to care much of
playing style than getting results, juju honestly we played a fantastic soccer
for a decade not forgetting the likes of Kostadin Papic as a coach, wasn’t that
football interesting? But what did we get at the end of the day? Didn’t we lose
twice against Kaizer Chiefs dominating the games? What did it mean? Chiefs does
play flop diski but snatch cups, so now we won treble we starting to miss the
point, we played boring football last season but we now have 3 cups which we so
proud of, guys do you want Pirates to win the trophy of best team of the season
rated from style of play or u need us to be champs? I need cups and how I don’t
care, I need good results.

Vilakazi, am disappointed and we are throwing away crucial points so early…
this is going to come back to haunt us. Last year, we did the sooner the better
but this year that tough is get going.... There is a serious problem in the
team... It’s more of new philosophy implemented.... The coach tactics have
deviated from Krol Philosophy. I thought that he is going to build from Krol
foundation but now he is starting from scratch and it’s going to take time for
boys to adjust. However, we are still at the right track.

my juju, wake up, we look lost in the field of play, we don't look like
champions, if we can't beat the small teams, who are we going to beat? I will
put my head on the block today and say we will NOT defend this title, the
sooner I accept that the better for my well-being. Where are the goals and
entertaining soccer that Leal promised? I blame Leal fully for our performance,
we have reinforced the squad very well this season, our coach's thinking seems
to be as slow as his talking, he needs to be quick in shuffling things for the
good of the team.

what right track are you talking about champ, losing 3/7, not giving every
player a chance while it's clear somebody is not producing, being in 8th
position & continuing a downward spiral, scoring 6 in 7 games, collecting 1
of the last 9 points, sliding down the table, not scaring the opposition
anymore. I could continue, unfortunately my battery is low; give you more in
about 2 hours. I will not be like Siwelele, will not cheer the boys out of the
Top 8, as one juju jokingly said " let's cheer the boys, as they slide
down the log". Damn, I'm still angry and in pain.

I feel like we are a bit spoilt, wanting to win always? Are u not the same
people wanted Krol fired? The next he won a treble. Are we practicing the same
impatience? Is Leal not a new coach? Is he not supposed to be given a chance?
Last time u were rejoicing the top 8 win. We haven’t even received the prize
money but you’re already pressing panic buttons. I will support this team till
the coach finds a winning combination. Dankie OWEN a true juju. I REST MY

we all know that a lose to Maritzburg United and Kaizer Chiefs does not lie with
Leal but South African referees while the draw to Mamelodi Sundowns lies with
poor performance and not convincing substitution tactics. While loose to Free State
Stars was due to lack depth in fielding good combination of players like Mabena
with others. Guys never compare Leal and Krol. Yes with Krol we won the League
that seemed not obvious that it was going to be taken to Mayfair. Patience and
lets support the boys along Leal. In better and worst till we become ancestors!

ha ha I like for the Pirates Champ... things will change for the better as time
progresses. I mean it took two seasons for Pirates to blow hot under Krol and
we should expect the same from Leal as well. He's not a bad coach nor do we
have average players. Change comes with its hardships and challenges; and
that's what our team at the moment is facing.
