Hello Diskioff readers, Firstly: It is with great sadness to wake up and start the week about the sadden death of one of our greatest treasured musician/artist. Mama Africa has passed away.
Well she has fought against apartheid through her music. While our fathers and forefathers where depressed by the injustice of apartheid she was there spear heading them and giving them hope and making then to think rationale. May her soul rest in peace.
Football: It comes to my attention and it irritates me to realise that PSL fans want to coach. It's fine to raise your concerns to your team if you follow the right channels. It seems like we (fans) forget that our role is to fill the stadiums and cheer for the boys and blow vuvuzelas.
Coaches get difficulties from our fans. We all have opinions, it's alright but we need to be patient some times, coaches need our support just like the players. Normally I wouldn't compare PSL to any one because we are unique, but this time I have to give an example, (bare in mind I'm not comparing anyone).
Looking at Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal and other European team, they keep their coaches whether the team is doing well or not, that is the ups and downs of soccer and as fans we have to understand that. They don't chop the coaches like here in mzansi, Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns, in fact all PSL teams change their coaches as if they change their dirty socks, but still we want to be one of the best leagues.
Football is an interesting game: we can all enjoy it if we can stop taking other peoples roles, if we all want to be coaches who's going to listen to who? So people lets respect each other and keep in mind that when we force a coach out it means we indirectly cut his income, coaches are people just like me and you, they need our support. It may sound irrational but fans seem to have short memories.
Mr Ruud Krol was being criticised by Orlando Pirates fans, but now after winning some few game he is suddenly a Pirates Messiah, the same people who were criticising him izolo they now see him as a hero. Fans should understand that not everything can go as we like, we can only hope for the better and give extensive support to our teams.
We have 16 teams in our league: they all want to win and the competition is tight but people seem to forget that we should face reality, gone are those days that when Chiefs and Sundowns even Pirates where unstoppable' during those days we had to just wait and count the goals that Chiefs scored, oho they gone we should be in line with the current league.
Let the (fans) stop being coaches because the real coaches will never fill the stadiums and blow vuvuzelas like we do, let's try to be patient, support our teams and raise our concerns through the right channels. We can have anyone as a coach but if the players do not do their job probably we'll just loose the games, we must remain fans and let the coaches do their jobs, just like us no one will interfere with our role as fans. Support means support not coaching.
Have a Blessed Monday and the rest of the Week!

Nice point...but still I'm not impress with the formation that is being played by Pirates it seems like we want to defend "4-5-1", yes Pirates is winning which is good but when it comes to teams like chiefs etc. this guys can attack from the first minute of the game till the end so if we have lot of defenders in the game we are going to defend guaranteed and I would like if Pirates can play 4-4-2
