I am a law abiding citizen. I pay my TV licence, and I will continue to do that, anyway, it’s the right thing to do. I want to further want to encourage all Diskioff Supporters to pay their TV licences.We must understand that the SABC lost the TV Soccer rights to Supersport. So we must not expect top notch soccer on SABC (Not that they did anything good when they had the rights). Ok, now in soccer there are what we call, Class A games, e.g. Chiefs Vs Pirates. Class B, e.g. Pirates Vs Supersport and your Class C games, e.g. Thanda Zulu Royal Vs Platinum Stars. I mention all this so that the people see a first division game when there is a Class A and / Class B game playing, they should not be surprised.
Supersport is giving SABC this Class C and Class D games. SABC has never taken soccer serious anyway so why give them Chiefs Vs Celtics if they will sure it when everyone is asleep? Ok, in case people miss the point here, let me clarify myself.
I watched a live game on SABC, Pirates Vs Swallows. I wanted to see this new David Radebe and the high flying Swallows. Radebe was and is the same player that added less value at Amakhosi.
Now, by the time Pirates scored, it had gone past Midnight. Now you tell me how many people were awake then. So if you do not have a Dish, pity you going to miss a great deal of soccer.
