Letter to Luis Boa Morte

Dear Luis,

As a successful product of Lisbon Academy who played and succeeded in English Premier League, I will quickly analyze your career for us to be on the same page before we look at the main reason why I had to draft you a letter.

Your promising career saw Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger opting to capture your signature into the Arsenal team where you spend 2 seasons and despite being a benchwarmer who only started 25 games in 2 seasons without even scoring a goal, Arsenal’s regulars yielded two successive league titles and your input was seen as unimpressive which saw them demoting you to join Southampton.

You started 18 games and scored just one goal in the three seasons you spent in England and that is totally lame for an imported attacker but Fulham scooped you into their team for couple of seasons and overall, you started 205 games and scored 44 goals and that was quite better I swear.

After a short spell with West Ham, your overall stay in England saw you playing 329 games and scoring 42 goals which results in 12.7% Strike rate for the best part of your Career and to me; that is quite average or lame if we got to be honest.

You also won yourself 26 International caps but you scored 0 goals which is 0% strike rate before your horrible spells in low leagues but your ego saw you leaving teams on a bad note and that is questionable as if teams hate you or you are as good as finished.

I was told of your interview with Metro FM where you slammed Orlando Pirates managerial qualities and although I am not in a better position to argue about that since I view things from a distance, I honestly found what you were quoted saying very interesting and I think I believe your claims for Julio Leal also couldn’t see a way forward but since you left the team, was it necessary to fly away from your native country coming here just to discuss the past?

Didn’t you say you “signed for Pirates to help us defend our league and should you fail to break into the team, you will release yourself?” Well you did release yourself and that is to say maybe you failed to break into the team so man up and take the blame.

You found Pirates winning trophies without your input and now that you are gone, note that nobody really misses you as you did nothing to impress thus we are not sorry nor caring what is to happen to your career after this as your career is really finished dude so I advise you to retire or play far away from my eye sight.

Are you this diputs (read in reverse) or you were just Putting an extra effort last night?
