I believe
our coach is a master tactician, every tactician tries some tactics that wins
and some that loses.
Surely
despite all of that one can pick up certain "bad" choices. These same
bad choices for me come in the form of substitutions. I am not the when the
boys practice daily I therefore can not question the starting line up but those
that replaces the starting line up.
George
Lebese has scored in the last cup of the season twice he was introduced as a
sub and created goals. Clearly if you can't put him in the starting line up you
can count on him as a sub rather than Lucky Khune who should first be tried out
in not so important games (don't know which ones are those).
Mandla Masango
has failed to score countless times last season; he tries to be too fancy and
holds the ball too much. Even the under 23 coach complained of the same thing
about Masango after he had substituted him even if he scored.
For me this
trail of bad choices has been what cost us the Premier Soccer League last year
and the Vodacom Cup this year. I am not calling for the coach's head because I
believe our advantage over other teams is that we kept our coach for three
seasons.
But I plead
with VV to look at his choices during the game.
Forever a
Khosi
