LOC meets the ANC, not our Government

Written By Unknown on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 | Wednesday, February 25, 2009

I am made to understand that the CEO and Chairperson of the LOC went to Luthuli House yesterday. They were there to discuss with the ANC president, or report progress on matters of the World Cup.

I listened to Robert Marawa, on Metro FM and all He talked about was the meeting with the ANC President. But now what comes to my mind is, who is Jacob Zuma in all this?

Why should the LOC report progress to him, or Helen Zille?

The LOC should be giving a report if there is any to give, to the State President, and my little knowledge tells me that His office is in Pretoria. The LOC does not owe the ANC anything, and if they want to go to Luthuli House for some drinks or anything, they should go there on their personal capacities.

We all know that its election time, and if the two gentlemen wants to campaign for the ANC, so be it, but not on the LOC ticket. Jacob Zuma is not the President of this country. I am not a politician, but that much I know. Are they going to give this briefing to the DA, Azapo, COPE and all this political parties as well? Why not?

I still need to understand all this. Someone please make me understand all this.
