The
following cases appeared before the Premier Soccer League (PSL) Disciplinary
Committee this week.
Bloemfontein Celtic: The club was charged with failing to give opponents, Supersport FC access to their change rooms four hours prior their Absa Premiership fixture at the Kaizer Sebothelo Stadium on 16 March 2014.
The
club was sentenced to a fine of R30 000.00 suspended for the remainder of the
season and ordered to pay their share of the costs of the sitting.
Each were fined R30 000.00 of which R 15 000.00 was suspended until the end of the season. Kaizer Chiefs FC was found guilty of bringing the League into disrepute and was fined R100 000.00, of which R25 000.00 was suspended.
In addition, the club was ordered to pay an amount of R25 000.00 which had been conditionally suspended in respect of previous offence earlier in the season. The 3 respondents were ordered to pay their share of the costs of the sitting.
