VV will never sabotage Matlaba's career at Pirates

Orlando Pirates coach Vladimir Vermozovic (VV) has no intention to sabotage the career of Thabo Matlaba at Orlando Pirates.

Orlando Pirates Medical Team confirmed that Matlaba is battling with a bout of flue and will not be available for the selection against Mpumalanga Black Aces this evening.

I know Pirates fans were shocked by VV unorthodox tactical decision against Kaizer Chiefs but it is unfair to initiate ill informed conspiracy theory without substantiated facts about Matlaba situation.

Thabo is an integral part of the Orlando Pirates with a big role to play. The coach justified his omission against Chiefs and indeed Chiefs scored from set piece due to lack of adequate aerial ability in the box.

The coach acknowledged that he limited the offensive movement by weakening the team wing play due to the absence of Matlaba against Chiefs and ready to amend the tactical error by reinstating him at his left back position in forthcoming games.

I blame Willard Katsande for this conspiracy theory as many Pirates fans are still mental disturbed by the derby outcome.
