To
this end, Kaizer Chiefs have stood the head and shoulders above the rest of the
Premier Soccer League (PSL) teams after achieving straight 8 PSL wins. Some
soccer fans would say it is too early to predict the 2013/2014 PSL Championship
winner but Kaizer Chiefs have done well with an outstanding performance in the
previous 8 games.
I
share same sentiments with Ernest Fakude and T Wa-BenniLaden Khiba
WaLebhakajuju regarding Kaizer Chiefs defending its Championship.
The
Amakhosi success is attributed to the consistency whilst other teams are
currently suffering from erratic performance epidemic coupled with the
complacency especial other league contenders prospect such as Orlando Pirates,
Mamelodi Sundowns and SuperSport United who always blow hot and cold.
It
is a global accepted fact that you can only win a league by collecting maximum
points and Chiefs are doing that by collecting maximum points despite some scrappy
wins away from home against Sundowns and Swallows.
It
is a major championship morale boost to Amakhosi after collected 6 maximum
points against two best teams away from home. The two wins away from home
against Sundowns and Swallows justified that Chiefs are on serious mission to
defend the PSL Championship title.
What's
your view?
