We are going to Tunisia for revenge

Written By Unknown on Thursday, October 10, 2013 | Thursday, October 10, 2013

The last time we played in the semifinals of the CAF Champions League it was against a team from Tunisia in 2006. It was against CS Sfaxien where we played to a goalless draw at home (Ellis Park stadium) first leg and thanks to Lelo Mbele for missing that clear goal scoring opportunity.

A fortnight later we visited them for the second leg in Tunisia where we lost by an odd goal difference.

Now in 2013, we are playing again a team from Tunisia (EspĂ©rance Sportive de Tunis) and we played to goalless draw in the first leg. I’m dreaming or is this history repeating itself?

Are we going there to revenge and amend what happened in 2006?

What are your thoughts Mabakaniya?
