More pain to come for Chiefs supporters this season

When Kaizer Chiefs won the Gauteng Cup and Carling Black Cup they thought the new season will be a smooth ride and they never anticipated what was to come and it’s only the beginning:

1. They were agonized when we beat Zamalek and Al Ahly and were quick to point out the Ramadan effect. When we lost to Zamalek, they were quick to point out that Zamalek and Al Ahly will go through and when we lost to AC Leopards they jumped up with joy and wrote us off the CAF Champions League. Agony was all over their faces when we qualified for the semifinals.

2. When we lost to AmaZulu in our league opener they celebrated until SuperSport United coach Cavin Johnson and his charges silenced them, we then met on the first leg of the MTN8 Semi-final. Diane Klate left Mzansi's number, Itumeleng Khune, sprawling on the ground and they said siyabuya.

In the second leg at Orlando Stadium they drew first blood and they thought they are through, however their coach Stuart Baxter made unintelligent substitutions and we equalised and won on aggregate. They were up in arms against Referee Daniel Bennett forgetting that they won the Carling Black Lable Cup via an offside thanks to their card carrying supporter Referee Victor Gomes. They left Orlando Stadium with their tails between their legs.

3. They will be further agonized when we reach the final of the CAF Champions league and I will be there together with my fellow Buccaneers to laugh at their agonized faces when we are crowned the African Club Champions for the second time while they are still looking for the first star.
