Bafana Bafana arrive in Agadir, Morocco

After a long flight, with three transit stop-overs, Bafana Bafana arrived in the coastal city of Agadir, Morocco on Tuesday evening (08 October 2013).

The Senior Men’s National Team left home on Monday night and their flight took them through Cairo, Egypt and Casablanca before heading for the final destination of Agadir where the friendly international will be played on Friday. Kick-off is at 21h00 South African time.

The match against Morocco is part of the country’s celebrations to open a new stadium earmarked for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations tournament which the Moroccans are hosting.Bafana Bafana travelled with 11 South African-based players, while Poland-based Daylon Claasen was the first overseas-based player to arrive.The rest were expected later last night, with Russia-based Siyanda Xulu is the last player expected to arrive on Wednesday afternoon (09 October).South Africa will have their first training session in Morocco on Wednesday.
