Premier Soccer League DC Outcome

A number of clubs and a club official appeared before Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee (DC) on various charges. Below is the summary:

Chippa United: They were charged with taking the field one minute late in their Absa Premiership fixture against the University of Pretoria on 11 May 2013. 
Chippa were given the option of an admission of guilt fine as this fixture was not live on television. They paid a R5 700.00 admission of guilt fine.

Cape Town FC: The club was charged with failing to have the requisite medical staff available during their fixture against Blackburn Rovers on 28 October 2012.
They paid an admission of guilt fine of R5 700.00.

Milano United: Milano United were charged with failing to procure requisite medical staff during their fixture against Vasco da Gama on 20 October 2012.
Milano paid an admission of guilt fine of R5 700.00.

Ajax Cape Town: They were charged with failing to grant their opponents, Kaizer Chiefs access to their change rooms at least four hours prior to kick off on 01 May 2013 during an Absa Premiership fixture.
Ajax pleaded guilty and were sentenced to a suspended fine of R 50 000.00. They were ordered to apologise to their opponents in writing and were also ordered to pay the costs of the hearing.

Dynamos and Pat Malabela:  They were charged with bringing the League into disrepute following remarks made by club official, Mr Pat Malabela, on air during a radio interview on 10 April 2013.

Both Dynamos and Mr Malabela were found guilty in absentia and were each sentenced to a fine of R 25 000.00. Mr. Malabela was also ordered to pay the costs of the hearing.
