Tickets
for the Nedbank Cup quarter-finals, scheduled for the weekend of 13-14 April
2013, are now on sale.
Tickets
can be purchased at Computicket and Shoprite Checkers nationwide. They are R40
for adults and R10 for kids. The PSL has urged football fans to buy tickets
early.
The
opening fixture of the quarter-finals will see defending champions SuperSport
United renew their Cup rivalry with Maritzburg United at the Harry Gwala
Stadium on 13 April 2013. The two sides have played twice this season with
SuperSport edging the ‘Team of Choice’ 2-0 in the first encounter and playing a
goalless draw in the league tie.
On
the same day, Saturday 13 April 2013, Free State Stadium will host what has
been described as the ‘pick of the weekend’ when Bloemfontein Celtic play
Kaizer Chiefs. Siwelele came from behind against a determined Free State Stars
outfit in the last round to book a place in the last 8 and will look to
continue with their impressive cup run this season when the Glamour Boys come
to the City of Roses. Kick-off is at 20h15.
On
Sunday, 14 April 2013, Pitso Mosimane’s Mamelodi Sundowns will host Platinum
Stars at the Loftus Stadium. At the same time, National First Division (NFD)
side African Warriors will travel to Moruleng Stadium to take on fellow NFD
outfit, United FC.
Both
matches on Sunday will kick-off at 15h00.
