Mosimane is a joke and we must not rush Zahara

Pitso Mosimane says “we can’t win if we don’t score”… genius implications on that statement.  I like to think he was misquoted, but knowing Jingles, he probably said it. I would hate to be in that press conference when that came out, I would have been kicked out cause I would be on the floor, laughing my black @SS off.

“Mosimane, who rang some changes in his strike-force by dropping Bernard Parker and roping in Kermit Erasmus and Siyabonga Nontshinga, is worried that the country is not producing quality strikers.” -  sir, allow me to correct you, it is not the lack of our striking ability that continues to fail us… it is the lack of quality coaching, especially at lower levels that keeps us back.

Under 23… I say, let us scrap this section of our national set up… we don’t need it, it does not work, (proof, how many players playing in the Bafana now have played more than 10 times in the U23???)… it is a joke, what’s worse about it is… the clubs are refusing to release players.  Why do we even need soccer at this level, at age 23 o se o le groot man in this game.

Zahara aka May Mahlangu won Swedish Player of the Year… well done to the young man for capturing this accolade.  But, this has got to stop… we have learnt that we are never going to get a “Messiah” in this country… this boy still has to prove himself in national colours before singing mad praises for the second coming of Madiba as a footballer.

Let’s be real, Sweden is not the best league in the world, even their national team does not call up players in that league.  The last player to be in the squad playing in Sweden is a 35 year old veteran and the rest of them are foreign based. Just to make things interesting about that league, they do not have a rep in the elite Champs league… and are struggling to get on in.

Zahara will have to come down, don the new Puma “two piece” and take instructions from someone who can tell him that “to win games you have to score” (sic).

Like I said, coaching methods differ from person to person… Zahara has to adapt to the chemistry of the team and the direction of the coach (shut up Jojo)… with those elements fitting each in perfectly, we can perhaps have a competitive team to go forward.

Do not put that much pressure on the boy… ya’ll know how quick ya’ll “BOO” a player for being on the field.
