On Tau quitting as captain of Kaizer Chiefs

BREAKING NEWS - JIMMY Tau has quit as captain of Kaizer Chiefs - for as long as Vladimir Vermezovic remains the club's coach. Your thoughts.... and who do you think will be Chiefs' next captain???


Bangos Bratislava Makhafola says: Where there is smoke there is fire. Maybe Vladimir Vermezovic lashed out at Tau and now Tau had enough. Vermezovic is destroying Kaize Chiefs just like the way Ernst Middendorp did. He forced Arthur Zwane to retire and in a very humiliating way. Players can not quit out of the blue just dislike their coach with no reasons. VV is a dictator and for that he must go. VV must go ASAP. AND THAT’S A FACT!!!

I said it before that this Vladimir Vermezovic guy lack respect remember what he did with Abia Nale + Kaizer Motaung Jnr. not forgetting what he did with Elsa Storm now it’s Jimmy Tau, I wonder who is next on his criticism list maybe Bobby Motaung himself, as for the captain Tinashe Nengomasha will do well.

@ Fraizer I know and I agreed with you just after that publication, some were fuming at you in defence of this VV guy... to answer the question, I like it when people don't want to listen, I’ll go for Josta Dladla if anyone will want to accept it.... mkhululeni agoduke Makhosi. There are good players who can't be good leaders, Khune does not seem calm to be captain but it’s just a view maybe Shabba!

They had a problem about the penalty George Lebese missed. It seems Tau didn’t like what the coach said that the senior players were scared to take responsibility including Tau. The gaffer was wrong, but we have to understand if the team loses the pressure come to him. Even me I do blame the likes of Jimmy Siphiwe and Yeye for not taking that penalty. Hope they will come with the best solution fast, we don’t need divisions in our team' Rise Khosi Rise!

Let's not be surprised if we don't see Jimmy Tau in the starting line up in the following games, that's how VV operates, if u have beef with him u warm the bench forever, e.g. Abia Nale. I've said it before that there are huge problems at Chiefs that we, the supporters know nothing about. Even in our game against Arrows you could see that the players were pulling themselves. Something is seriously wrong and it needs to be rectified as soon as possible for the benefit of everyone associated with Kaizer Chiefs.

I talked to one of my fellows about Tau's performances this season, very poor by his standards, not effective going forward and not good even at the back, I don't know why. What kind of a captain will just go down after his player missed a penalty? Who went to George to encourage him after he missed that penalty? Kaizer will have to decide, it must now be clear who is bigger between Tau/players/coach and Kaizer Chiefs? Please help me find a labour / law that says a manager/coach must not shout at workers. If there is, then an action must be taken against VV.

 I think it’s clear that there's definitely a huge problem within our team and it looks like something that VV is struggling to resolve. Now its time for Mr. Motaung to intervenes before it’s too late.

If that is true then I might start believing in player’s power conspire doing the damage? That could mean the opportunities were deliberately missed in order to see vv being axed. Is it Khune alone fighting for VV, I mean the way he carried the injured parker out like an emergency ambulance says something else and somehow the commitment of the players fighting for an equalizer was saying ''coach you’re not going anywhere'' management better come out or Tau must be fined just like Tevez.

I couldn't have said it better ma self Khutso. I don't mind loosing but loosing in that fashion where players are just dragging their feet, loosing the ball and not even bother to fight for it back.... says a lot about players mindset.

I'd give the captaincy armband to Sweswe, Khune cracks under pressure and Tinashe collects yellow cards like they are going out fashion, which means he is likely to miss every 5th match.

Nale cried and Tau didn’t resign, Masango was lashed at on national TV and Tau stayed as captain. Majoro and Ngcobo were shouted at and Tau stayed on. Who is he that he can’t be shouted?

Did he even care that George was morally low? Leadership is not when all is smooth but it’s when chips are down and you have to lift up your game... remember Muhsin Ertuğral once ad issues with Tau. Maybe he got issues with authority.

VV must stay, Gavin Hunt he did very bad for two season but he was given chance, Bobby and his players ngazobhedala, Sir Alex is been with a team through ups n down. These players are failing and now trying to hide ngo coach, yes coach got his mistakes but that doesn't hold them to score or play beautiful soccer.
