Brewing Storm

Written By Unknown on Thursday, August 20, 2009 | Thursday, August 20, 2009

Well it is really sad to be writing such a piece when we all are waiting with anticipation and bated breath, for the most successful World Cup on African soil.

Let me be very clear on the onset that I am Patriotic, and I am really sure that we can deliver to the world the greatest spectacle of them all, and yes I believe we will.

There are crucial positions that were identified from the onset, to be very important ones in as far as delivering the World Cup is concerned, by FIFA and the LOC. To my knowledge it was even agreed, in principle that the people occupying them should not change until after the World Cup.

Amongst these positions were those held by Molefi Olifant (SAFA President), that of Danny Jordaan (CEO LOC) and that of DR Ivan Khoza. For some very unknown reasons to me, with the knowledge of how important his position is to the advancement of and even better World Cup, Mr. Olifant decides not to contest the elections. I can’t blame him for finally realizing that He is dead wood.

Now the two other Gentlemen, who in principle agreed that they will hold their positions, until after the World Cup, decides to contest the position vacated by Mr. Betrayal Deadwood. This means that after the SAFA elections, all of them might have vacated the positions that they agreed in principle that they will hold until after the Word Cup. We can’t blame them, they are after all African, and we know that most Africans are power hungry.

The two Gentlemen are well within their democratic right to contest the position of SAFA President. They are both very powerful and after all, there is no better leader than them, like we all made to believe. If there is any other person who can stand for the South African soccer demi-god, it’s Mr. Jordaan, but is the timing of this war really good?

I have seen Democracy going wrong in my lifetime; ask any Zimbabwean if you want to know all about it. When two giant elephants go to war, it’s unfortunately the grass that suffers the most. In this case I am greatly worried about the grass more than anything. I mean the grass here is the Most Successful world cup on African Soil. How long did the elephants in Zimbabwe take to agree to work together? Well I don’t think we have that kind of time between the SAFA elections and the start of the World Cup.

We need not fool ourselves here. This war\Storm\elections, the campaigning thereof, is not what our World Cup organizing committee need at this point in time.

We can only hope and pray that the Elephants, get their sense. There is a better solution to all this. The two elephants can hold onto their positions, get a compromise candidate for the SAFA Presidency.

Mbele must stop his red lottary. He has more eyes looking at him than he can afford to look at the rest of all soccer fraternity. Onething I hate is a lie and if a person can lie once he must have done it before and will do it again. This what happens when fundis are given seats. Chiefs have taken responsibility for bad behavior. Sundowns are repremanding their coach for behaving like a kid. We at Pirates want to warn Floyed to keep his mouth shut and let Krol do his job. It goes without saying why we are not at the top of the league. We are not a spaza shop and floyed better know that before we ask him who de hell he is anyway. He already told us "bulshit" and he has more of that coming down his hill. South Africa has plenty kids both black and white who will like to work at Pirates as CEO. We must lead by example yet you have this dude calling people "bulshit". It will be bulshit when we oust him. He must go get therapy and start looking for a job at baragwana as a goverment clerk.

Mr.Floyed Mbele is arrogant CEO who has brought the Orlando Pirates Football Club brand into desrepute. It is Not Pirates code of ethics to adress fans as "bulshit". Besides it is an unhealthy and unethical media practice for Mr.Floyed Mbele to lambast public critics. Thus the teams reputation has been heavily compromised. Certainly Mr. Floyed Mbele is that type of CEO who functions as the chairmans advisor on the daily operation of the team. Thus we wish that Mr. Floyed Mbele's turnure be ended with emmidiate effect. We also wish to nominate Mr.Nkosana Irvin Khoza as new life time CEO.
