SABC have been under a lot of criticism by a lot of us and it looks like they will be for as long time. I know people are keen to know what they doing right, and I can hear a lot of people asking, "Does the SABC ever do anything right?”
Well, firstly, I must mention that I was greatly upset with the broadcast of the National team against Zambia the other time. SABC is simply crap. They play Generations, and then there is the singing of the national anthems. All of a sudden all the players are at the center of the field waiting for kickoff. No shake of hands, no posing for team pictures… nothing. Then the damn thing must have been recorded. This mamparas are taking the country for a ride. Then they send me an sms that my TV licence is in arrears, julle ditsem-se-datsemse.
The next thing they sent not more than three camera crew to broadcast the game. 90% of the game was shown from one camera. There is simply no quality at the SABC TV. I am so scared of what we will be subjected to during the World Cup.
Then during the game, everyone speaks. There is this Touchline expert who will analyze the game while it’s playing. As if that’s not enough, there is this irritating voice of some Gloria woman, damn that’s really out of order.
Well, now Radio, and its 6'o clock, Roberto on Metro FM. The guy is simply so good and the show is spot on. I might not agree with all the guy says, but this is a great show and I hardly ever miss it.
My best feature on the show is when they bring on the Legends, ohh that’s great. Keep the good work up the SABC team when it comes to this show. The very best show for me and a lot of people was when Rob brought Louis Tshakoane on the show, my oh my, Chiefs must get him back on board as soon as yesterday. The man is a natural. Thanks SABC for the Sports center.
