Telkom Knockout Quarter-Final draw procedure

The draw for the Telkom Knockout quarter-final will be conducted tonight  being conducted ahead of the Mpumalanga Black Aces vs Orlando Pirates match on 8 October in order to maximize the amount of time available for arranging the venues, dates and times of the matches and making all the necessary arrangements.

In an unseeded draw we would simply have a draw a slip showing Orlando Pirates / MP Black Aces, and the winning team would go through to the next round as drawn.

This particular round of the Telkom Knockout is however seeded, meaning that the highest finishing four teams from last year’s ABSA Premiership are kept separate from the remaining four teams.

If MP Black Aces wins the outstanding fixture, then the seeding would be as follows:
