South African Football Special Moments

In football there are history moments or achievements which stay in our minds and hearts forever and are not easily forgotten that is why some teams are special more than others.

Take for example Kaizer Chiefs was once a dominating force in South Africa taking cups almost every year in the early 70s and 80s yet even though some like to brag about so many cups they don't even know how those cups were won and some have even forgotten.

However, I can assure you in 1995 when Orlando Pirates won the CAF Champions League and the Super Cup, those two moments will never be forgotten not by the Orlando Pirates fans and not by their enemies or even by the country's government.

When I say special moments which live forever take SuperSport United winning 3 Premier Soccer League (PSL) titles in a row that will never be forgotten; mind you Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates have never done that.

Great moments that may take a life time to break:

*Orlando Pirates winning the CAF Champions League

*Orlando Pirates winning the Super Cup

*Mameldo Sundowns wining 3 PSL titles in a row

*Orlando Pirates winning a Double Treble

*Kaizer Chiefs winning a Treble in 2001 (Muhsin Ertugral Era)

While some history are easily forgotten the kind of history I’m talking about are those that put that particular team/players in the wall of fame.
