The
poor match attendance at FNB Stadium is worrying me. I think it's about time we
switch to our alternative home venue The Peter Mokaba
Stadium (Polokwane), the turnout at FNB
Stadium is always embarrassing
more especially when we're against the so-called smaller teams.
When
you have an enthusiastic and passionate crowd like the Polokwane supporters
behind you, a crowd that always comes out in large numbers its kinder
inspiring!
Retaining
the Premier Soccer League (PSL) title is going to be a bigger challenge,
because there are a lot of teams around that want to take the championship from us and they will be even better
and stronger than last year.
So
it's a massive challenge for Kaizer Chiefs players, coach and the management to
hit the ground running by getting back on track. You look at clubs like SuperSport
United, Mamelodi Sundowns, and Bidvest Wits they've indicated their intent!
So
there’s no Honeymoon moment – we need to
secure a turf (grounds) where we can create an intimidating atmosphere for our
opponents. And the only way we're goanna be able to achieve that is by getting
more bums on the seats!
