Big
game this evening between Orlando Pirates and Bloemfontein Celtic - it’s going
to be a tough but exciting free flowing game. Here is my detailed tactical
descriptions of the Orlando Pirates possible 4-4-2 starting line-up. Celtic’s
possible line up to follow soon.
1.
Moneeb Josephs - Despite Senzo
Meyiwa’s good performance against Kaizer Chiefs, Slim-Kat is undoubtedly one of
the best keepers in Mzansi. He deserves a start ahead of Senzo.
2.
Lucky Lekgwathi - Just like wine, he
has matured over time. Very strong at the back with good offensive techniques.
3.
Patrick Phungwayo - Mzansi’s best
left footed player. He is very good going forward adding more attacking value
at the left wing. He is David Nyathi in making.
4.
Rooi Mahamutsa - Mzansi’s
non-nonsense and strongest defender who can be dirty with hard tackles. He is
strong like fiddle. He is the Andrew Rabutla of the Premier Soccer League (PSL).
5.
Siyabonga Sangweni - Clean, calm,
collected, committed, dedicated and diligence defender who is nothing but
simple the best with good attacking techniques. A potential goal-scorer when the
chips are down.
6.
Oupa ‘Ace’ Manyisa - Mzansi’s true
definition of complete creative and talented midfielder. Tactical discipline
player with good ball passing techniques, good movement on and off the balls
coupled with good dribbling skills. He is the instigator of Pirates attacking
moves.
7.
Andile Jali - The boy is committed
with highest work rate. He is focus and aggressive player which makes him the
toughest player in the PSL. He can be tactical ill-discipline sometimes
especial when the team is down but he has balance defensive and offensive
techniques.
8.
Sifiso Myeni - He is very effective
at the right wing. He is skillful player with array of skills coupled with good
defense penetrating movements. He is fast with eye-pleasing defense splitting
passes.
9.
Daine Klate - He is amongst the best
left winger in the country. Despite his nippy body, he is very skillful with
dangerous crosses and also offensive ability of scoring crucial goals.
10.
Ndumiso Mabena - Mzansi’s most
underrated, but simple the best player with good movement on and off the balls.
Very dangerous coming from the deep position. He is a hustler who always gives defenders
tough times with his intelligent runs. He doesn't score many goals but he is a
good in creating Benni's space to score goals.
11.
Benni McCarthy - He is ever-shining
striker with good scoring techniques. He is good on the ground and also aerial
with good positioning skilled upfront. He is player to watch this season with
good scoring techniques and out of this world composure. Very dangerous player
in the box.
