Open letter to Kaizer Chiefs supporters and management

We have note with shock the impatience of some sections of supporters claiming to be belonging to Kaizer Chiefs after the unlucky and unfortunate defeat to Orlando Pirates.

These supporters who are originally from Umtata Bush Bucks, Manning Rangers, Vaal Professionals, Dangerous Darkies and Seven Stars were quick to forget that the Carling Black Label Cup was a pre-season tournament aimed at preparing the team for the upcoming season.

We had a better first half and Pirates kept on chasing shadows until George Lebese got injured and everyone including this fly by night fans was happy.

Towards the end of the game the coach tried some players out (Keegan Ritchie at left wing and Lincoln Zvasiya at right back) and it all looked good as Tlou Segolela was neutralised. All was well until Benni McCarthy elbowed Zhaimu Jambo towards the end of the game and he had to be treated for about 2 minutes and we just lost concentration from that corner kick and the rest is history.

The unfortunate part is some of these fans from teams who no longer exist after the game came out guns blazing labeling our coach as a clueless fake. I need to remind these supporters that we started that game without 3 key members of our squad (Mulomowandau Mathoho, Siphiwe Tshabalala and Kingston Nkatha). Fact of the matter is we still need some few players in the team.

Bobby Motaung has tried his best but we still need Tsepo Masilela, Erwin Isaacs and Lehlogonolo 'Vieira' Masalesa. Siyabonga Nkosi is not convincing, we need Masalesa to hold things together with Reneilwe 'Yeye' Letsholonyane spraying out those passes.

In conclusion, without fear or favour all those who call our coach clueless must know that they are not welcome in our team. They can join a team of their choice.

Rise Khosi Rise!
