White
remains FC Shakhtar's key away kit color. This season, the kit features a
distinctive wide orange stripe running down the left side of the jersey with a
similar stripe is on the right sleeve.
The
jerseys have a classical design with a collarless neckline. The away shorts and socks are also white, completing the look.
Additional kit graphics accentuate its individuality, including the team’s name on the jersey and the shorts,
as well as FCSD abbreviation written on the socks.
While
producing the new kit, Nike designers have used the latest innovative
technologies which help players to perform at their best.
The
kits are made of 23% lighter fabric with 20% stronger knit structure than the
Nike’s previous kits and feature Nike Dri-FIT technology to wick moisture away
from athletes to help keep them cool and dry on-pitch. The glued T-type
conjunctions in the shoulder area strengthen the stitches, which take the
biggest pressure during sharp moves at the field.
The
new kit is made from Nike's recycled polyester, making them Nike's most
environmentally friendly kit ever produced.
Each kit (jersey and shorts) is made using up to 13 recycled plastic
water bottles.
This
manufacturing process reduces energy consumption by up to 30% compared to
manufacturing virgin polyester. Since
2010, Nike has used an estimated 115 million recycled plastic bottles to create
its high performance kits.
