A Letter to Vladimir Vermezovic

Thank you for your contribution to the Kaizer Chiefs football club. We appreciate it very much as fans. We want to thank you for the trophies you have won during your stint.

You are very aware that you are the head coach of the biggest club in South Africa and one of the biggest(if not the biggest)sports brand on the African continent. With this in mind you are aware of the expectations and the high standard that our football club has. As a card carrying member of this team I want to see the team win the league and I am aware that it is your priority as well.

We have retained the nucleus of team. You know your team better than the other coaches of the so called big team who will also be challenging for the league title. Your signings seem very wise and they look good too.

Lehlohonolo Majoro was the league's top scorer if we take Knowledge Musona out of the equation, Tefu Mashamaite was very consistent and captain of his club, Keegan Ritchie is a potential Bafana Bafana player as for lawyer he is unknown to us. He was your signing and Mr. Coach I know you were a defender and you probably know a good defender when you see one, the plus is that he has age on his side.

Most of all thank you for bringing Bernard Parker to the club he showed brilliant touches in the friendly against pirates and gave their defense a hard time. I hope he will also get us at least 10 goals in his first season. I reckon we need 1 or 2 signing then we will be ready to play and beat anyone in the Premier Soccer League.

Please manage your players well they are our greatest assets especially those that are not regular. They need to feel wanted and part of the team at all times. Go out there and try to do what you did in Serbia by winning the league without a single defeat. You've done it before and you can do it again!

By Godfrey!!!! (KCCB)
