Football Is A Career

I’m of that opinion that bar for a couple of individuals on Pure Football Experts, we all view football as nothing but a form of social entertainment; this however, is not the case for those directly involved like players…

A professional, would move from one career job to another, for to simple reasons, and that is for financial growth and to meet new challenges... it therefore surprises me that when a very good footballer joins a teams like Mamelodi Sundowns, people are quick to lambaste that move claiming that is a career suicide...are they not supposed to prosper?

Just because there’s a Lungisani Ndlela, Richard Henyekani, Koketso Mmotong or Eduardo Ferreira...it doesn’t mean there’s no Katlego Mphela, Elias Pelembe, Cheeseboy Mokoena or even Punch Masenamela

Therefore, others will fail, and others will succeed, at that end of that day, joining Mamelodi Sundowns from ANY South African team is a good career move... no player should sign a long term contract if he still has career ambitions based on that above logic...

It is with the above reasons that I welcome Hlompho Kekana eChloorkop...
