We need that kind of support for Bafana Bafana. Can we all imagine all of us in the Bafana Bafana T-Shirts in a full FNB Stadium? We all singing, cheering our boys on. The kind of football they would display on the pitch, the commitment and the pride of wearing that T-shirt. They will all die with their boots on. Our players will all perform at team level, with the hope of being part of the National team. That will do wonders to the Standard of soccer in this country.
All I am trying to do here is to make all of us, the supporters, what we can do for our football. We are a very important part of the game, and without us football is nothing. The reason there is so much money in soccer today is all because of us, so why not take our football to the next level?
This is simply a plea to all of us to rally behind the Boys, and we need them to know that they might be in Guinea, but in spirit we 100% behind them. The game might not be that significant, but we know they are there to redeem their pride, our pride. They are actually preparing for next yea’s Confederations Cup.
Like they do in Bloemfontein, when all is not going their way, we also should say, "Re tla ba jara Bafana Bafana". Which simply means; “when they cannot lift themselves up, we will.” We will let them know that they are not alone. We will sing and dance with them. Come a WIN or a LOOSE! While they in Guinea, we will say, "Go Bafana Go, you carrying the hopes of our nation, your nation".
