Mbesuma starting from ZERO…

After an unsatisfactory career in Europe for three seasons, Collins Mbesuma is back at the Premier Soccer League, but this time as a Mamelodi Sundowns player. The former Kaizer Chiefs striker was untouchable in the 2004/05 PSL season after scoring 35 goals and single-handedly helped Chiefs win the league. However, in his new team, Mbesuma will need to fight for a place as Downs has signed Monterio, Zuma and Mphela. Mbesuma’s competition will be high and to add to that he will be competing with the likes of Chabangu and Moriri upfront. So what are Mbesuma’s chances of making the first eleven? Amasundawana fans wait with anticipation to see when Trott Moloto is going to field the big Zambian striker. Mbesuma aka “Ntofontofo” to Amakhosi fans will soon be tested and the striker can’t wait to prove his critics wrong.
