I’m sick of being pointed

Till this day I’m still failing to understand why we wasted money on Mhlongo! Mara why? Management must also find their feet! They should be doing something. Can’t put the blame on only the coach coz the players also need 2pull up their socks? Bay United?! Come on! Haibo, that sucks! Why do we have to fight to be in the top8 instead of fighting to be the League Champs?! This is ridiculous & pathetic! I’m sick of being pointed @ whenever I’m wearing a Orlando Pirates jersey! What happened to “Happy People”? Mara Santos is going down, sizobadla! We need to offload players; but Proffesor I think Seema is doing a good job, doesn't really deserve to be offloaded. We need Kamwendo back. O ko kae? Guys, lets keep supporting our team.

Shape up MABHAKABHAKA please!

I’m not happy with the standard of soccer our beloved team Orlando Pirates has displayed. They’ve made us look like jokerzz amongst the faces of our fellow rivals (Chiefs and Sundowns to name a few). That coach (Ruud Trol) must pack his bags and GO. What do they do at practice sessions… sit down… play with their thumbs...??? I think as Pirates supporters we have endured the pain and suffering this damn team has brought upon us. Its time it WIN a damn game. It was unfortunate we lost to Bay United. Let’s beat our next opponents Santos please mabhakabhaka.

Its Number 70 (South Africa) Vs Number 110 (Malawi)

It is 618 days before the Diski is Off at FNB stadium for the first ever World Cup on African soil. Bafana Bafana, (I am not too sure that this is a name you can give to any team) are still trying some new players in preparation for the big event. To all those people who did Chemical Engineering and some courses where experimenting was critical, please watch this experiment as well. The game has been upgraded to be an international one, so what? We playing some country with a lot of unknowns just like us.

Most people do not even know about this game. This is a time when there should be a hype that is building up around a team, but instead we should look out for Mbulelo Mabizela on the streets, so that we can call Sipho Nkumane to come fetch him to the camp, incase we see him before kickoff. The sad part is that we do not even have the team as yet; I am told the team that is playing is some local experimental something.

To all who like most of us have a lot of things to do in the morning, at work, please do not waste your time and wait up for the game. You won’t miss much if anything at all. You probably would not know 90% of the 22 players who would start this game. Before people label me unpatriotic like they did to Benni McCarthy, Lucas Radebe and all the people who has always been committed to this team, make it clear that I am patriotic. In all fairness, it’s FIFA who came with the numbers, so you can’t blame me.

It’s just that I would not stay in an abusive relationship, and thanks to Mr. Know it ALL for making me understand abusive relationship.

I will sell my tapes for R20...

SABC must pay Supersport or produce their own shows… some PSL teams have TV shows... Matsastantsa TV etc... it’s an international trend... Manchester United TV... Real Madrid TV etc... It’s just like the website. How many people singing ko bishop stand have access to internet... just ask yourself that question ntate.

SABC must take initiative and pay... they were up in arms when Supersport won TV rights etc... as a national broadcaster, I don’t think they are doing enough for sport... but they are trying... they need to set up a SABC Sport Channel... or something like that... SABC is a general channel... and Supersport is dedicated exclusively to sport... that makes a major difference... lets hope SABC will make a plan in this regard... but for now... I will tape them all and sell them ka mo Tsekeletsa Street... R20 per episode. I will use the money to buy airtime and ticket for matches to watch my beloved Bloemfontein Celtic... wa bona mos'

I’m happy, but not happy

I’m happy that we won on Saturday and beat Ajax Cape Town 2-0 and also happy for both Tshabalala and Zwane (our left and right wings, respectively), BUT I’m not happy about the way the midfield and the strike force played. It’s like they were not concentrating, gave away and wasted balls. I really hope for another 3 points from the next game. Uk'thula noxolo!

South African strikers - mara why???

Many of us are not satisfied with the strikers in our league. We have strikers because they play the last man or because the coach, names him a striker. I mean for a so-called striker to play four to five games without a goal - we must get worried. Maybe our defenders are so tight at the back, yeah right. Strikers have to score goals but our PSL strikers seem to do the opposite. The reason could be that, there are no proper development structures, or our scouts get the wrong people to play in our professional teams.

Guys not to be funny but you can have the development of some sorts, but if we get the wrong people, we’ll produce the worst strikers. Football is a talent and if you cannot kick the ball, no one can make you a striker. SA has nine provinces, but our scouts tend to but a blind eye on the other provinces. Personally I have been around SA and I know what I’m talking about. If our scouts can take time just to visit some villages, I’m telling you they will come out with the best players SA has been dreaming about.

I lived in villages, townships and some suburbs; I know what I am saying. PSL teams can get better strikers if the scouts can stop selecting players because their fathers use to play for so and so team. Look for talent and get the player simple, I know players who are better that what I see in the PSL, but because their fathers never played professional, they don’t get selected. I’ve been to trial to just observe their selection criteria, you will be shocked, that some good players were turned down for no reason.

Scouts get to all places will get talent; it’s waiting for people like you to put it in the right direction. For now use what you have in the correct way, if we stop copycatting, will be fine.

This is Mzansi not Europe, why don’t we play our own style, not copy what European teams are doing. Europeans are doing ok, but if we can use what we know, our strengths, skill (we are skillful, anyone knows that), SA diski will have a goal, but if you try teaching me to play like Ronaldo… it will take some time (that’s where development come in), currently we lack that kind of developments.

Bafana Bafana face Malawi tonight

Bafana Bafana face Malawi tonight in a game coach Joel Santana will desperately want to win… and redeem himself after a miserable two defeats from Nigeria and Guinea. The game will be played at Germiston Stadium and kicks off is at 7pm.

PSL sucks, big time

Recently most people are convinced that the standard of our football is very high. There is no longer a big team. You can’t expect to walk over a team because it’s small anymore. Teams have the financial muscle and they can go out to the market and compete with the once big teams. Teams now have the best development structures and they are investing a lot in the youngsters. All is well and the future is bright.

Let’s come back to reality. There is no striker in the PSL currently, let alone a quality one. Can someone tell me why the teams cannot try to develop players to score goals for them? I watched the MTN* final. If the two teams on the day could continue playing for the whole week, none would have scored.

SAFA is saying they are doing well and their development structures are up and running, but they are producing players that no one has seen. Now look at me, how can I put SAFA and development on the same line?

This past weekend I watched the game between Chiefs and Ajax, and what a crap game it was. What are all these players doing at training? Do they train? Players from both teams looked like they have not seen each other for some time.

Then I said ****, let me watch Mamelodi Sundowns and Supersport United. This game was supposed to be the Derby, the Pretoria Derby. The same thing. Well Sundowns players must realize they have themselves to blame for the loss against Chiefs in the final. They were playing like they wanted to show Trott that he cost them some big moola in the final.

But again you look at all the games in general, they suck. There is no team that can string some few passes. Players just run like headless chickens. What are the coaches telling these players at training? The standard of soccer in this country is down, very poor. I looked at the squad that will play Malawi, Hahaha, to think some people will actually watch the game, Hmmm. I will never stay in an abusive relationship; I am not a Pirates fan.

PSL mixture

Even the greatest chef won't have such a bad mixture on his platter. I am a visitor here in Cape Town, South Africa. I love soccer and had planned to go to the stadium and enjoy the atmosphere, only to my surprise that PSL fixtured all Santos and Ajax Cape Town games at night. It's shocked me...!! The worst part of it… all the games play at Athlone, which caters for the fans who are having their own transport. The PSL planning is actually shocking, that's why people here in Cape Town support Liverpool, Chelsea or Man United. I heard Ace Ngcobo on TV show pointing out that 2010 World Cup stadium preparations as an excuse. The games are being played at Athlone stadium which under construction, what happened to Newlands stadium? When I get back to Europe, I will tell my friends and collegues that South Africa sucks.

Pirates fans, get out of this abusive relationship

I really don’t get it, like I have mentioned before supporting Orlando Pirates is like being in an abusive relationship, it’s difficult to get out, but there is no value in staying in. At least people in abusive relationships don’t pay their hard earned cash to be abused. For almost a decade this team has promised so much and delivered zero. Bay United are my candidates for relegation, they remain my candidates for relegation even after beating Pirates, why? You may ask, well because Bay United beat the worst team in the league yesterday and when faced with a team marginally better than Pirates they will be walloped. The Pirates starting line up boasted one Pires Adriano, he has an interesting name but very little game, oh yes according to the Pirates website he has been banging them in friendlies (against YEBO YES, Soweto United etc.

Then you have the likes of Walaza, he has not scored a goal in 20 games yet he is guaranteed a starting berth , then there is one Joseph Makhanya, who has football has not improved in the ten years he has been at Pirates, then the captain himself, Lehlohonolo Seema, probably the most overrated player in the country. The coaching is very suspect at Pirates too. Bottom line is this team is bad, they play poorly, they show lack of commitment, they don’t seem like they have a plan, and the coach does not seem to have an idea on how to use his players and these players are just happy to exist. My advice to Irvin is to budget R100 million rands to buy a PSL status because the chances of his team remaining rooted at the bottom of the log are very high. Any team anywhere could have buried Pirates yesterday.

Dear Pirates Supporter

Everyone has heard the songs about how much love can hurt. But that doesn't mean physical harm: Someone who loves you should never abuse you. Healthy relationships involve respect, trust, and consideration for the other person. Do you think these players or even Khoza ever consider you?

Abuse can sometimes be mistaken for intense feelings of caring or concern; this happens when Seema writes his column on the website and promises to do better. Abuse can be financial, physical, emotional, and sexual (sexual, this happens when you even lose appetite for sex because of Mhlongo, Seema, Mdledle and Company. Emotional can be difficult to recognize because it doesn't leave any visible scars but think about all your friends and neighbours who make fun of you because Krol has no clue. The first step in getting out of an abusive relationship is to realize that you have the right to be treated with respect and not be physically or emotionally harmed by another person or football team.

The TSHWANE KINGS share the points

The Pretoria Derby produced only two goals - this is what the supporters of these two Pretoria Giants (Supersport United and Mamelodi Sundowns) wanted to see. Supporters wanted great goals but it wasn’t to be. Like I said last time Sundowns fielded a different squad that played in the MTN8 ‘wafa-wafa’ Final. This was good… as other players also needed a run and they did well not to lose the derby. Both teams played well but as usual, they both failed to do the most important thing, scoring goals. When are these players going to learn that goals win games? United were looking to set the record straight, but failed to use the chances that they have created, same goes to Sundowns, it seems like they did not learn from the final after playing well without scoring.

Sundowns players looked like they were affected by the outcome of the final, but hey that’s football. In general the Pretoria Derby did not leave up to the standard that it was supposed to be. It lacked goals; the wow factor was not there. The players were not taking their responsibilities as they were supposed to. Coach Trott Moloto will be fine with the point, at least did not lose two games in a row (from United), which can put his job in trouble. Even though the game produced only two goals on the day, the TSHWANE Derby is still a must see Derby.

Lucky Chiefs escape with three points

Our Diskioff fanbase is growing big time, Thanks for the constructive criticism guys, especially Peter Mtshwene and Johannes Khomo. We will continue to strive for excellence.

Kaizer Chiefs are proving to be the team of the night. It’s been sometime since I saw this team display quality football, but nonetheless they managed to win a cup and a league game. I watched their game against Ajax Cape Town and I nearly regretted my decision to watch that game. It was only in the dying minutes that Chiefs displayed some individual brilliance with two great goals. First it was Siphiwe Tshabalala with a great strike from range, then Arthur Zwane, with his very first touch of the game. Overall the game was simply boring and Chiefs should start doing justice to their loyal fans who pay their hard earned money to support them.

Chiefs won, but it was not a game they would be proud of. They were lucky not to concede a goal. Muhsin had an animated night yet again. I hope for their sake their luck does not run out, and as for Ajax, they should have learned from Sundowns that if you do not convert your chances, Chiefs will punish you.

I agree and disagree with Sundowns fans

Masandawana I have to agree and disagree with what others say about Collins Mbesuma being waste and agree that Trott Moloto must stop using a lone striker becuase really its killing us in the middle. I think he should try Mphela and Mbesuma. Moriri behind them, or Dario and Mphela becasue a lone striker doesn’t work ask Alex Ferguson. Stop abusing players by putting pressure on them, then u will see we will be unstoppable. For the record Mamelodi Sundowns will be PSL champs just watch and learn. Ayeye bafana ba style!!!

My thoughts

GOALKEEPERS

Moeneeb JOSEPHS - Erratic
Shu-Aib WALTERS - withdrawn
Itumeleng KHUNE - I think he is the future

Maybe we should have a look at Baloyi, keepers get better with age...

DEFENDERS
Nazeer ALLIE - Think he needs to recapture his form of last season first at Ajax
Brett EVANS - Good, experienced player.
Siboniso GAXA - Not performing in the Bafana jersey
Morgan GOULD - Give him a chance..
Robyn JOHANNES - Needs to prove himself at Downs
Bongani KHUMALO - excellent player
Mbulelo MABIZELA - Recapturing the OJ form we love
Innocent MDLEDLE - A bit erratic, but I love a leftback that attacks, and makes runs like he does.

MIDFIELDERS
Kagisho DIKGACOI - Best player in Mzansi at the moment. Make him El Capitano
Daine KLATE - Great player, needs experience in a BB jersey.
Reneilwe LETSHOLONYANE - Love his style, want to see how he performs in a BB jersey.
Thulasizwe MBUYANE - Has done nothing since arriving at Bucs.
Teko MODISE - Could have rested him for this game, but I rate him highly.
Lebogang MOTHIBANTWA - WTF!
Gert SCHALKWYK - Give him a chance, with creativity around him he might be the answer.
Siphiwe TSHABALALA - He is always busy, needs to work on his composure.
Lefa TSUTSULUPA - Very hard working.

I would have liked to see Josta Dladla and Franklin Cale in the squad.

STRIKERS
Petrus MAHLATSI - Needs achance to prove himself, but maybe rather get back in form at club level.
Bernard PARKER - Please solve our problems Bernard.
Eleazar RODGERS - Good option to have in the squad.

I like the squad, understand that they are trying to look at as many players as possible before the end of the year.

Durban Derby: Amazulu Vs Thanda

This is the fastest growing must see DERBY: the Durban Derby or simply DD. Amazulu are still mourning the lost of their striker Siyabonga Mkhwanazi. Hopefully they will dedicate the GAME in his memory, besides that they are currently on position 14 on the log and I’m sure they don’t want to be there for long, winning the DD (Durban Derby) is what they need after the dark cloud that was hanging on their heads. Besides that they have good player to do the job. NO Team want to loose a derby regardless of the circumstances, I personally believe that Amazulu will rise on the occasion. And try to get out of the dander zone as quick as possible; Shongwe is the man to watch for Amazulu.

On the other hand Thanda Royal Zulu is on a great form, played two games and won all, and whipping the mighty Amakhosi on the way. Royal Zulu players are not goal-shy. With the experience of the veteran Peter Ndlovu and ever hard working Bernard Parker, Amazulu will have to strengthen their defence. Parker is on fire (not saying he’s burning, he he he) just saying the boy is a marvel to watch, he take opportunities well, he’s just a marvel , and Royal Zulu are a dangerous side with him on.

Well this is the throne of the ZULU KINGS as the name suggest (Amazulu, Thanda Royal Zulu ) it’s going to be a very entertaining game, the two teams phela want to be remembered as the winners of the DD. Durban people here is another treat for you guys, more diski, go to the stadium and support your teams.

So all in all we (DISKIOFF) like to challenge you guys, everyone. Which DERBY will be more interesting and which one will produce more GOALS? My prediction for this derby is… ?? He-he-he… you know my answer by now baf'wethu.

TSHWANE DERBY

This one thing Mamelodi Sundowns were not hoping for: A derby game after losing the Final to Amakhosi. Well, well, it’s back to business as usual. Supersport United will be looking for revenge (not physically), nothing will make United players happy than to see the Brazilians players itching, phela Supersport want to add salt to Sundown’s wounds. Sundowns on the other hand are very angry, (Wounded lion) want to slap anyone on their way.

Truth is Downs players are still hurt and want to redeem themselves, by winning the derby. Supersport will have to be extra careful if they want to win the game, if they put avenge and Downs loss to chiefs aside, then they can easily win the game, it’s going to be tough. Trott Moloto will use other players and the players who were not used in the final, surely want to prove that Trott made a mistake to bench them. This is a derby so it’s like a final, even though there is no 8 metre (million) on the block, he-he-he. So it’s going to be interesting to see how Sundowns players take this one. Surely Moriri wants to prove that he is still a great player and can do wonders with the round thing, and score, surely he doesn’t want anything less than a win and to be on the score sheet (only if he on the field). Dane Klate is one dangerous player at Supersport currently, if his form from the past three games is anything to go by, then Sundowns is on a high jump again.

So Matsatsantsa le Bafana Ba style lets fill the Stadium and witness TSHWANE DERBY. May the best Team win and remember Goals win the match not position, so good football from all sides and goals will make the Derby even extra special. My prediction here is.... ?? U guessed right.

Good luck message for Amabhakabhaka

I really don't mind interacting with fellow soccer lovers; I’m a serious Fanatic and Love soccer. I know that The Mighty Buccaneer are playing on Sunday. If I could send a message to my fellow Buccaneers, then it would be: “I know that our team hasn't been on form of late, but if we all stand behind them, have faith and show up in numbers and go support them, they’ll make us proud. Rudi has shown that he is a master tactician and our boys are gelling nicely... Black and White with pride and after 90 minutes, we the Happy People will be celebrating!”

My Bafana Bafana selection thoughts

Hubert gives Diskioff readers his thoughts about coach Joel Natalino Santana's selection. The players that will play against Malawi in a game many people say Bafana Bafana should cruz .

GOALKEEPERS
Moeneeb JOSEPHS - Should be no1
Shu-Aib WALTERS - withdrawn
Itumeleng KHUNE - overrated (positional play was badly exposed in final)

DEFENDERS
Nazeer ALLIE - very underrated as he is an introvert even at club level
Brett EVANS - experience makes up for lack of pace but sometimes "wanted" at the back
Siboniso GAXA - attitude problem - average
Morgan GOULD - tough as steak - average
Robyn JOHANNES - excellent player
Bongani KHUMALO - excellent player
Mbulelo MABIZELA - good player
Innocent MDLEDLE - CRAP - dives in at tackles and 1 "footed" player

MIDFIELDERS
Kagisho DIKGACOI - should be captain
Daine KLATE - excellent player (must be in all BB teams even though he might not play, for the experience)
Reneilwe LETSHOLONYANE - 3game wonder so far (what about Shumana of Ajax)
Thulasizwe MBUYANE - nothing special unless in a F State Stars jersey
Teko MODISE - most overrated player in PSL
Lebogang MOTHIBANTWA - not BB Material (robust & slow)
Gert SCHALKWYK - to much hype but a good player
Siphiwe TSHABALALA - crap, play Franklin Cale at left wing
Lefa TSUTSULUPA – workaholic

STRIKERS
Petrus MAHLATSI - how many goals scored this season - Mabuthi Khanyeza better player
Bernard PARKER - deserve call-up
Eleazar RODGERS - long overdue

I can't get an answer

"Howzit..... baf’wethu bakuDiskioff! Bra Proff, You know I've been asking myself the same question "IS GOD CHIEFS FAN" but I can't get an answer. You know sometimes what I thing is that chiefs when it comes to the money/cups chiefs they are the best. The Kaizer Chiefs boys they were nowhere to be found in that game cause Mamelodi Sundowns they were all over them, they attacked from the first minute of the game till 120 minutes but the lucky wasn't in their side. Sundowns is looking good to me its just that they haven't find the scoring combination Mbesuma played well according to me, Moriri also did well I think the two will do well when times goes on just keep watching. By the way I'm a Pirates fan."

WELL DONE CLEVER BOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1-0 against Free State Stars was a brilliant Result. I was at the game and enjoyed it thoroughly. The Clever Boys played with Heart and Soul and gave more than 100% to get the goal and secure the win. The goal came from a Free kick which was played beautifully in the box and found the Head and flick on from Spelman who stuck it past the Free State goal keeper to give the Clever Boys the Goal just before Half Time. Overall the game was played at high tempo and good skill displayed especially by the clever Boys with Delightful touches in and around Free State Stars Box. The 1-0 result was fair on the day and The Boys can take a lot of positives leading up to the next game which will be played against Platinum Stars at Olympia Park which is in Rustenburg.

Is God a Chiefs Fan?

I kept my promise and joined my Mamelodi Sundowns Diskioff Pretoria Branch to watch the game with them. All was set, the meat, the fire and all that a good celebration could need. Everyone was so sure of a Sundowns win. The Kaizer Chiefs fans were there and convinced too that it will be their day. What a match. Sundowns had the best ever game on the field, like they always do against Chiefs. When Suprise Moriri missed that golden opportunity, I knew it was a bad day in the office for Trott and the troops.

Then the penalty shootout, I feel for the guys who missed, they sure feel like they let the team down, made their teammates to loose on a huge bonus they were promised. How cruel football is. No one will remember the brave fight Sundowns put on the day, but everyone will only remember that Chiefs won the 8 Million MTN Cup in 2008. Hard luck Masandawana, you will celebrate one day.

To the Chiefs fans, well done, congratulations, its back to the League Race manje. I could not stop asking myself throughout the match hat, "Is God really a Chiefs fan?" That was the only thing that would explain why Sundowns lost the game, at least to me.

Celebration of the Week

Coca-Cola Soccer Zone is well known for “Moment of Brilliant”. Diskioff team last night decided to award “Bra Pule” with this week’s Cool Celebration. This is one wicked celebration baba. Big ups to Amakhosi for winning the MTN8 "wafa wafa" Cup on Tuesday!

Bra Pule's words: "Diski 110%....Basketball 105%.......any other sport 100%"

Mr. Kaizer Motaung please sack Muhsin ErtuÄŸral before we get relegated

Mr. Kaizer Motaung pleazzzzzzzze! Please, please sack Muhsin ErtuÄŸral as what I saw on Tuesday night was really a disgrace. I’m really sick and tired of watching bad football from Chiefs. Then later Muhsin will point fingers at people. We won the match by luck not "skill" or "great football". Man I’m still stunned, especially after the Mbesuma, Moriri and Chabangu misses! I didn’t even sleep well even though we won. Why didn’t’ Muhsin play Thabo Mooki? Our midfield was totally dead and Sundowns outclassed us. Why did he play Phala??? And after that he plays Mashango… while the Godfather “Tsiki Tsiki” warmed up for nothing yet again! My friend was laughing and told me that Muhsin won’t play Tsiki Tsiki. I had hope when I saw him warming up. I won’t speak about Gert as he was one of the lazy guys – it was like uphuze imbiza. That’s why Chiefs lost two games in the league. U shouldn’t wonder if we finish outside the top8 this season. Thanks for the Cup but Muhsin must pack his bags and go.

I’m in tears and heart broken thanks to Mamelodi Sundowns players

How can Trott Moloto put Benedict Vilakazi on the bench and play 4-4-1-1 without attacking midfielders? But hai our players gave the cup to Kaizer Chiefs really. MTN8 Final showdown TONIGHT

The MTN8 “wafa wafa” Final between Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns match will take place at the Absa Stadium eDurban tonight. Kick-off is at 20h15.

Fare Thee Well my President

For us to be awarded the 2010, it was crucial that we involve the Government and indeed our Government, under the great leadership of Thabo Mbeki, came to the party. Then Sepp Blatter and the troops were convinced that all South Africans were willing to host the world, then they announced that we are the perfect hosts for the prestigious event. It therefore is very sad for me to say, “Fare Thee Well my President. I know that the United Nations, or other world bodies of repute, will seek your expertise and will use your wisdom and vision to bring the benefits you brought to our country and other African countries.”

I like what Dirk Uys wrote to the Editor of news24 I Quote “What times we live in, swopping a former president with a degree in economics and a vision of an African Renaissance with a future president with standard three and a machine gun in his song.” I know I will be labeled to be in a certain camp, so I might as well pronounce that I am indeed in a camp, the Diskioff camp.

I personally felt that the ANC should have let the President serve out his few remaining months in office and that was probably the mood of the Diskioff world. Look, as the host of the 2010 showpiece, we do not need the speculations of a politically unstable South Africa. After the Beijing Olympics, the world focus shifted to Africa, and South Africa to be more specific. So far we have been doing well and FIFA knew they could trust SA even after our elections next year for the best world cup come 2010. But do they still do now?

Meet Zakumi - the official 2010 World Cup Mascot. Zakumi was unveiled on Monday night in Johannesburg, SABC1 (Coca-Cola Soccer Zone). Zakumi was created by Cape Town artist Andries Odendaal.

What do you think about the character: Zakumi?
· He will bring Bafana luck!
· I like him! Cool character
· Zakumi? I don’t know
· Nothing! It’s for kids

Sky was the limit on Saturday

I write this with fear of being attacked by many. A lot has been said about the MTN8 organisers taking the two Gauteng based teams to Durban. With many arguing it was the first mistake. The second mistake being that they did not take into consideration the fact that Durban is rainy this time of the season.

The tickets sold out almost two weeks before the match day. So it simply says to me whatever the criteria that were used to choose Durban as a host city for the final was spot on. No one would tell me that he anticipated it would rain like it did in Durban over the weekend. If people did anticipate it raining, they sure would not have bought the tickets nice and early like they did.

We can’t blame God, so there is no one to blame for the game not taking place on Saturday. As for the postponement to Tuesday, there was no perfect night than tomorrow, given the fact that Wednesday is a holiday. But having said all that, my heart goes out to all the people who travelled to Durban for the final. All I can say to them is, this things happen and hard luck bafowethu.

To my Sundowns Diskioff supporters branch who invited me to watch the game tomorrow in Pretoria, I will be there. The sky was the limit on Saturday; I hope the Sky is not the limit tomorrow.

Sundowns used MUTHI to change de weather on SATURDAY!!!!

Hehe… what a weekend nightmare. I'M NOT HAPPY! Bad decision to send the game to Durban, while us people who support these teams stay eJozi and Pretoria. I had already stock my food; my 48 cases of beer, my meat was gettin’ ready outside; my vuvuzela next to me; my friends singin’ outside; only the game was missin’. Mamelodi Sundowns used muthi to change da weather to give them extra time to train. They can do that, lets let them have it, its no use, out of 9 cup finals against us, they’ve won 1 one, so they know what hell lays b4 them.

Shame on the MTN8 organizers

It was a shame coz they know that Durbs (Durban) on this time of the year is rainy season... and y didn’t they just bring the game 2 Jozi coz these r 2 Jozi giants (Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns) meeting... and as 4 Tuesday. Why not Wednesday coz its a holiday... coz many people r working night shift like my friend and who am I going 2 watch a game with coz he is a Motsepe supporter...damn please...but in a good note. Amakhosi people… we look beyond the limit of the sky and is going to be 3-1 favour makhosi… and hey Amakhosi fans...u the Diskioff branch… how about we have a celebration party at our exclusive venue 2 celebrate the victory on Wednesday after we trashed the Motsepe boys.....think about it and reply. Chiefs Vs Sundowns: Few hours to this GIGANTIC showdown eDurban

Tension mounts!!! Every Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns supporters are trying to convince everyone how they will win tomorrow’s game. They all seem so exited about this game. But believe you me deep inside they all scared. They know come the final whistle only one team will be the winner. They all do not want to be on the loosing side. For Bafana ba Style, the more worrying factor is the previous results against Chiefs in the past finals. For the Phefeni Peace loving people, the recent form and their defence is a worrying factor. The fact that Tinashe Nengomasha might not be available as he is in Zimbabwe to burry his sister does not seem to make matters any better.

The problem is that this is not about just loosing at the end of the day. It’s a problem of who you lost to. This is a game that brings a lot of memories to a lot of people. To me personally, reminds me of my late brother, a true Sundawana who would go straight to bed tomorrow should Sundowns loose.

But to the fans, let them be rest assured, it does not matter who will be on the starting eleven of both teams, they all motivated. They will die with their boots on. This one will be settled in extra time. One of the teams will crack. The Question is which one?  Teams turn to be too defensive when a lot is at stake, so it might not be the thrill all of us are anticipating. Having said that, we have a game on our hands tomorrow.

May the best team win!!!

MTN WAFA WAFA FINAL

One can’t imagine a PSL season without witnessing a final between Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns, you can even bet with your whole salary without any fears that, definitely these two teams will cross the paths in one of the finals during the season. Obviously that comes with speculations left, right and centre. Media, Families, managers, colleagues and so forth are divided in terms of speculations and that makes the prospect of the final more exciting.

One must however acknowledge that with Abdul Bhamjee, the ex NSL PRO, the prospect of a final was more salivating than in this modern era. The atmosphere before the final (especially the whole week before) was hectic. The one Abdul marketed the final as if he was having a doctorate in Marketing management, the workplaces, families, Pubs, trains, taxis, churches and so forth were awash with bettings, speculations, disagreements and differences.

Coming back to this weekend’s final pitting the so called modern rivals of football, teams who regularly meet in finals, Chiefs vs. Sundowns. The atmosphere ahead of the final is somehow great, judging by the way the tickets became sold out quickly and the last man standing (winner takes all) phenomenon.

Breaking news: Airtime Mazibuko, popularly know as size13 is heading for trials in India

”I cannot disclose much now, as we are still in negotiations with the Mombai Star” said his agent from Diskoff, only known as Proffesor. Proff is famous for arranging moves to India for the likes of Mdabuli, Chain Gang, Dr Ndi, Tivani.

“I am happy to being showing my skills in India, and the earnings are good” said Tivani. “I get 2 Brahman bulls for every game.” said the slightly overweight Mdabuli.

“My players would play 4 to 5 seasons in India, and we'll arrange for them to come back home and play for Downs. With that international experience they would earn good money for retirement” concluded Proff.

OBG is training hard to impress scouts from another Indian clubs; it seems these players love the Brahman bulls earning.

Thanda Royal Zulu babe!

There is no doubt that you will own the fields of football in SA, especially with the addition of the assistant coach Mr Gorowa. His history and abilities both as a player and a trainer goes to prove. Headed by Roger, the TRZ management has no excuse for not claiming their throne in the fields and in SA Football. I was inspired to faithful say all of this Thanda Royal Zulu!
